Subtle daring
In this 260 square meters Paris flat on the quays of the Seine, architect Marie Deroudilhe has deployed all her talent to provide the aesthete owners, lovers of contemporary art and design, with the ideal showcase for their vast collection.
Line of conduct
Softness and a graphic approach define the contours of the living room, which has been entirely whitewashed (‘Meringue’, Ressource), smoothing out the angles on the ceiling and revealing the fireplace designed by Marie Deroudilhe. A harmonious composition of space with the ‘Standard’ sofas by Francesco Binfaré (Edra) and their ‘Baba’ cushions (Emmanuelle Simon), vintage floor lamps by Isamu Noguchi and a coffee table by Frédéric Pellenq (galerie Kolkhoze). Vase ‘Soona’ by Elias Van Orshaegen (galerie Sinople).
On the wall, painting ‘Spring by the water’ by Bonnie Collin (Amélie, Maison d’Art) and wooden sculpture by Fréderic Pellenq.
