Solid

From the depths of the earth to the dizzying emptiness of space, the current research of Lætitia Jacquetton and Olivier Sévère revolves around the moment when matter “takes shape”, when fire, water and air, which give life to stone as well as glass, abandon the material, leaving it to its form.

“Solid” brings together recent and more distant pieces like a group of stars that do not belong to the same constellation. Lætitia Jacquetton and Olivier Sévère probe, each in their own way, the dimensions of reality, the perspective of time, the sap of nature. A conversation in which space, breath, allows the consciousness of matter to emerge. The exhibition oscillates between formulating hypotheses and testing them.
