Contributions Festival
10 exhibitions to see this weekend in Paris
Until 22 October 2023, Contributions, the new independent collectible design festival co-founded by curator Anna Caradeuc and the creative agency Bildung, will be presenting a series of original events and exhibitions during the Paris International Art and Design Week, with a focus on creation and the collective.
The 10 must-see exhibitions:
“Irida” by Mariana Chkonia and Sinople Gallery
Tucked away at the end of a courtyard in the heart of the 6th arrondissement, Atelier Lardeur is this week hosting a group exhibition. Here, within the weathered walls of this timeless space, where three generations of artist-craftsmen have succeeded one another, Georgian artist Mariana Chkonia presents her superb felt textile works, while Parisian gallery Sinople unveils a selection of new pieces from its tribe of creative artists, including wooden creations by Ferréol Babin, glass furniture by Thibeau Scarcériaux and woven objects by Inès Bressand.
