“Dosse” bench

Made from a slab of ash, this bench confirms Perron et Frères' approach to reusing neglected materials and exposing them to the light of day through discreet but extremely sophisticated assembly techniques. The quintessence of their know-how, these techniques allow the user of this piece of furniture to dismantle it by simply tilting the assembly. Wooden keys hidden in the pear and walnut legs are released by simply tipping the top over and allowing it to be separated from its supports. The seat is flamed, re-sponged and polished with orange oil, and is adorned with precious finery that accentuates its reliefs, revealing the very nature of the tree, right down to the galleries of the bark beetles that once inhabited it.
